On ITsART payments are protected by the PSD2, the new European regulation on online payments.
For this reason, to complete an order, it might be necessary to authenticate the payment through a code (SMS or Bank App) or through other methods chosen with your Bank (e.g. fingerprint or vocal recognition on your device). To complete the purchase, simply follow the instructions.
- The authentication for an order is always requested directly from your Bank, even if the Credit Card has been associated with your account. This option can’t be disabled because it guarantees a greater safety for your purchases.
- The authentication mechanism requested to confirm your orders is the one you chose with your Bank.
- If the authentication fails or it is not completed before the time limit, the order will not be confirmed. To complete it, you will simply need to repeat the order providing the informations required.
